Si è tenuto Domenica, 22 Maggio, il Congresso Nazionale ARI VHF & Up 2022 curato, quest'anno, dalla Sezione ARI di Prato e dal CR Toscana.  I lavori sono iniziati al mattino alle ore 9:20 ed hanno visto un’ampia partecipazione di colleghi radioamatori, come si vede dalle foto, e dopo l'introduzione e saluti sia del Presidente ARI Prato, Andrea IZ5VCI che del Presidente del CR Toscana, Paolo I5PVA, sono seguite interessanti relazioni come quelle di: 
- Matteo IW5DHN su attività EME in 50 MHz; 
- Roberto I5KRD su il beacon multibanda del Monte Secchieta;
- Alex IV3KKW su ARI e IARU: lo status delle bande V-U-SHF;
Verso le 12:00 sono seguite le premiazioni sia per i Trofei ARI 2021 che per lo I.A.C. 2021. -  Infine è seguito un ottimo pranzo.
Presenti al Congresso di Prato i nostri Soci IU0NWJ, Cristiano e IU0PVM, Roberto; grazie a loro, anche per le foto che hanno scattato durante gli eventi, delel quali alcune vengono pubblicate qui con questo report. 
  
Soddisfazione viene espressa dal Presidente IK0XBX e da tutto il Consiglio Direttivo della nostra Sezione di Perugia, anche a nome dei Soci, perché al Congresso durante le premiazioni per le classifiche nelle attività dello scorso anno 2021 nello I.A.C. Italian Activity Contest, ha visto l'assegnazione del titolo di 1° Classificato a IU0NWJ, Categoria 2IT, 144MHz, Classe Rookie. - Da notare che IU0NWJ è risultato 12° nella Classifica Nazionale 2IT, sempre 144MHz, con un ottimo Score di ben 3.331.601 punti
Complimenti e grazie per la passione e l'entusiasmo che ha visto IU0NWJ lanciato nella attività competitiva appena dopo il conseguimento dell'Autorizzazione Generale del MISE con l'assegnazione del suo Nominativo di Stazione di Radioamatore.
Da apprezzare anche la sua generosa ospitalità per il coinvolgimento di altri Radioamatori nostri Soci, consentendo a diversi la possibilità di fare esperienza operativa mettendo a disposizione la sua Stazione Radio, dotata di un ottimo set-up di apparati e di Antenne direttive Yagi per i 144 e 430 (vedi foto), tutte autocostruite da lui.
L'obiettivo principale dello I.A.C. - Italian Activity Contest, in 50 MHz - 144 MHz - 432 MHz - 1296 MHz - 2,3 GHz & Up, è quello di tenere sempre più attive e valorizzare le bande dai 50 MHz, 144, 430 e a salire, nelle porzioni dello spettro radioelettrico tra le più interessanti sotto innumerevoli aspetti, nei giorni infrasettimanali, secondo un calendario prefissato per modi, frequenze e orari, che di norma sono di 4 ore di durata.
Quindi sia l'ARI Nazionale che la Sezione di Perugia sono certi che lo I.A.C. possa consacrarsi come “palestra” per quanti si avvicinino alle attività contest in generale, con l’aiuto anche dei Radioamatori già esperti, e proprio per questo sono state introdotte alcune sottocategorie come i Rookie (OM con meno di tre anni di patente) e gli Youngsters (i giovani con meno di 26 anni).
