GRIFONISSIMA - 10 maggio 2015

Sport come cultura del benessere, partecipazione e grande festa, questi gli ingredienti della Grifonissima, la gara sportiva più amata dagli umbri, che ha tinto con i suoi colori il centro storico della città.

La gara di atletica leggera, che ha visto la partecipazione di circa 1.000 atleti iscritti al percorso competitivo (km 11,886) e 8.000 al percorso a passo libero (Km 3,5), ha coinvolto giovani studenti delle scuole, famiglie, adulti e bambini, pronti a condividere lo spirito competitivo della gara inserito in un contesto sociale unito ed appassionato, come solo lo sport a volte, riesce a fare. 

Dopo il percorso, partito alle 9.30 da piazza IV Novembre e sfociato nella grande festa al Santa Giuliana, con musica ed intrattenimento di Max Radio, ecco trionfare i vincitori della gara di corsa competitiva più importante dell’Umbria; a salire sul podio, per la sezione maschile, l’atleta Abderrafii Roqti (Finanza e Sport Campania), che con i suoi 37 minuti e 47 secondi, si è aggiudicato il primo posto della classifica. A seguire, Tarik Marhnaoui (Colleferro Atletica), con una differenza di un solo secondo  ed il terzo classificato Antonio Gravante (C.U.S. Roma), con 38 minuti e 20 secondi.

L’atleta kenyote Ruth Chebitok (Athletic Terni), è stata la vincitrice femminile della Grifonissima 2015, che ha battuto il tempo record di 43 minuti e 16 secondi, Silvia Tamburi (Atletica Avis Perugia) si è classificata seconda con 44 minuti e 59 secondi, terzo posto a Laura Ricci (Calcestruzzi Corradini Excelsior) con 45 minuti e 30 secondi.

A correre per la solidarietà, anche l’Associazione Avanti Tutta Onlus capitanata dall’eroe perugino Leonardo Cenci, giunto quest’anno alla sua terza Grifonissima; una corsa che diventa una battaglia per la vita, un prezioso momento che testimonia il grande valore dello sport come sana condotta di vita, di gioia, di stimolo e partecipazione alla vita attiva della comunità. Ma anche una vera e propria palestra di vita, che insegna a non arrendersi ed a correre in nome della vita.

 

Il servizio di comunicazione radio, è stato assicurato dal Gruppo di radioamatori ARI-RE della Sezione ARI di Perugia, che con consumata e ormai pluriennale esperienza, ha gestito i contatti dalle postazioni (fisse e mobili lungo il percorso di gara), con la sala radio, allestita presso lo Stadio di Santa Giuliana.
