Gara Automobilistica Internazionale di Velocità su Terra: NIDO dell' AQUILA sul Monte Pennino a NOCERA UMBRA

ARI-RE Perugia ha curato le comunicazioni di emergenza e soccorso per la Gara di salita al Monte Pennino, riscuotendo gli elogi della Direttrice di Gara, Sig.ra Cristiana Riva e dell'organizzatore dell'evento, Sig. Oriano Agostini, per la prova di professionalità, serietà ed efficienza, dimostrata sul campo dagli operatori radio di ARI PG. La copertura del servizio radio è stata assicurata da IK0EBS-IK0QJO-IW0RUM-I0YHD-IK0HCT-IK0AZG-IZ0GVZ e I0KWX, sia per le prove di Shakedown di sabato, sia nelle  Prove Speciali di domenica. Oltre 55 i concorrenti che hanno entusiasmato i numerosissimi spettatori appollaiati ad ogni tornante, incuranti dell'intensa polvere sollevata dalle  vetture. Oltre agli italiani, hanno gareggiato equipaggi finlandesi, francesi e svizzeri, fortunatamente senza alcun incidente, a parte qualche rottura meccanica dei mezzi.. Un elicottero del Corpo Forestale dello Stato proveniente da Rieti, ha sorvolato a  lungo la pista per poi atterrare vicino alla postazione di Start, per essere pronto a trasportare in ospedale chiunque avesse avuto bisogno di cure a seguito di eventuale grave incidente Fortunatamente è rimasto inoperoso e la giornata, soleggiata, fresca e ventosa, si è conclusa con la soddisfazione di tutti.   73 de I0KWX
