NEL WEEKEND dal 17 al 18 MARZO 2012, si è svolta la manifestazione EXPO ELETTRONICA, presso Umbriafiere di BASTIA UMBRA (PG)

Le SEZIONI ARI di PERUGIA E FOLIGNO, per tutta la durata dell'evento, hanno gestito uno stand ricco di particolari iniziative:

Il GRAU  Gruppo RadioAscolto Umbria, ha dato dimostrazione circa le nuove tecniche e modalità di ricezione. Sono state installate antenne VHF-UHF e dipoli per le HF. E' stato sempre attivo un punto di radio ascolto e sono stati gestiti vari workshop, durante l'arco dei due giorni. 

Per gli appassionati del DX, era in funzione un TS-2000 dell'ARI Foligno e varie interfacce digitali operate dal Gruppo RadioAscolto Umbria.  

Le Sezioni ARI di Perugia e Foligno hanno mostrato un sistema alternativo di invio di messaggi di posta elettronica senza l'uso di internet o cellulari, per dimostrare ancora una volta l'efficacia del packet in HF...  protagonisti Dario IW0QNL e Amedeo IW0RVI.

Il Perugia Contest Club ha messo a disposizione materiale divulgativo ed immagini, per raccontare le esperienze maturate e i risultati ottenuti.

Il COTA Carabinieri On The Air, è stato presente, come sempre, con un suo stand ricco di iniziative.

un momento importante, è stato la consegna ufficiale del nuovo trasmettitore ATV al Presidente di ARI PG, I0KWX Vinvenzo, da parte del suo realizzatore, Silvano I0WYC. La comunità degli appassionati alla ATV si allarga!

E' stato dedicato ampio spazio ai modi digitali ed al D-Star. 

Buona affluenza di OM e curiosi. tra questi il Presidente del CISAR IW5CGM, che insieme gli amici del CISAR Assisi, ha installato e fatto funzionare un repeater D-Star, dimostrando come sia possibile aggirare gli stretti "vincoli" imposti da Icom, ad un costo irrisorio. 

Sempre relativamente al tema D-Star, sono state illustrate ai colleghi OM, le tecniche per collegare utenti e ripetitori lontani. E' stato anche mostrato come, attraverso le radio D-Star e il GPS, sia facile localizzare il radioamatore "sopra" una mappa, in tempo reale.

Sul tavolo dello stand delle Sezioni ARI di Perugia e Foligno, facevano bella mostra un iMac 27" ed un videoproiettore, che trasmetteva su grande schermo, contenuti e filmati inerenti l'attività radioamatoriale.

E' stata un'ottima vetrina per mostrarsi al pubblico in modo concreto e per 'esporre' la nostra professionalità, competenza e socialità.
