GRIFONISSIMA - 14 aprile 2017

fonte Perugiatoday..:  La manifestazione sportiva più amata di Perugia ha un nuovo vincitore: si tratta dell'atleta Hajjaj El Jebli  che ha tagliato il traguardo della 37esima edizione della Grifonissima con un tempo record di 37 minuti e 10 secondi. Ha preso il via alle 9.30 di questa mattina, la stracittadina che quest'anno ha visto la partecipazione di 7.466 atleti; la manifestazione, culminata come ogni anno al Santa Giuliana per la festa a cura di Max Radio, è stata un successo. Al secondo posto, con un tempo di 37 minuti e 11 secondi, si è piazzato l'atleta Tarik Marhnaoui mentre la medaglia di bronzo, con 37 minuti e 33 secondi, è andata a Hakim Radouan.

Leonardo Cenci ha battuto il suo record personale alla Grifonissima da quando la corre con il cancro. La scorsa edizione della gara aveva impiegato 1h 4’18” per percorrere gli 11,886 km previsti; oggi (domenica 14 maggio) l’ha conclusa in 59’03”. Il tutto grazie al supporto tecnico del suo compagno di corsa: il questore di Perugia, Francesco Messina. «È stata una giornata meravigliosa – dichiara Leonardo dopo aver concluso la gara – con un clima perfetto. Io ho avuto un compagno di viaggio che mi ha seguito passo a passo, che mi ha indicato le traiettorie da seguire. Abbiamo fatto una strategia veramente eccellente grazie alla sua esperienza. Ho dosato le energie in tutti i 12 chilometri e ho fatto il mio record personale, da quando ho il cancro, migliorandolo di oltre 5 minuti. È un miracolo e ne sono felice. Ho visto tante famiglie, tanti bambini e giovani. La mia speranza è quella di essere riuscito a lanciare un messaggio positivo per tutti. Dedico questa mia impresa a tutti i malati 

Il servizio di comunicazione radio, è stato assicurato dai Radioamatori della Sezione ARI di Perugia, che con consumata e ormai pluriennale esperienza, ha gestito i contatti dalle postazioni (fisse e mobili lungo il percorso di gara), con la sala radio, allestita presso lo Stadio di Santa Giuliana.
