La mia attività radio è stata sempre concentrata nelle bande basse, in particolare 80 e 160 metri, con i compromessi di un QTH in semiperiferia, non molto rumoroso ma ancora troppo vicino alla città, con abbastanza spazio per stendere una beverage da 150 metri circa e una da 90, ma non sufficiente per poterne realizzare una da 240 metri diretta sugli States..; non posso lamentarmi ma non ho sicuramente il QTH ideale per poter fare l'attività che vorrei... Un grande aiuto l'ho avuto con le antenne per RX che utilizzo da anni, in continua evoluzione:
  Una beverage bidirezionale con doppino telefonico 100-280 gradi da 150 metri
  Una beverage fissa sui JA da 90 metri
  Una coppia di loop K9AY con cui copro tutte le direzioni
  Una DHDL reversibile sugli States per ascoltare via corta o via lunga 
Ho condiviso sul mio sito (www.ik0xbx.com), nella sezione "Antenne RX", le linee guida che ho seguito per realizzare la beverage monodirezionale sui JA e la coppia di loop K9AY; non appena avrò terminato altre prove darò maggiori dettagli anche per le antenne reversibili (beverage e DHDL).

Considerando che voglio migliorare ulteriormente la situazione RX (troppo spesso non riesco a completare i qso perché i corrispondenti spariscono nel rumore di fondo), sono ben accettate critiche costruttive.
