Sabato 12-07-2014 e Domenica 13-07-2014, inserito nel CONTEST IARU si svolgerà  la gara più importante per i radioamatori appassionati di Contest. Le OLIMPIADI dei Radioamatori.

59 Team ,composti da due operatori ciascuno,selezionati da 3 anni di partecipazione ai Contest più importanti che si svolgono annualmente,si affronteranno,in eguali condizioni di attrezzature, per premiare i più dotati e più bravi in questa disciplina che attrae sempre un numero maggiore di radio-appassionati da tutto il mondo. La gara si svolgerà nel New England, la penisola più vicina all'Europa,composta da sei Stati: Connecticut, Vermont, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Maine e New Hampshire. Le 59 postazioni sono state ampiamente testate in diversi contest e dovrebbero equivalersi. Saranno assegnate a sorteggio, come pure i nominativi che verranno consegnati ai vari Team solo 15 minuti prima dell'inizio della gara. I nominativi saranno K1,N1,W1 seguiti come suffisso da una lettera dell'alfabeto, escluse le lettere:J,Q,Y,E,H. I nostri partecipanti sono IK2NCJ e IK2QEI in un Team e IK1HJS e I4UFH in un altro, poi c'è un Team di giovani (sotto 25 anni) composto da IZ1LBG assieme a WQ2N.Per incrementare l'interesse a collegare i partecipanti, gli organizzatori hanno istituito diversi premi che possono essere raggiunti specialmente da quelli che hanno stazioni notevolmente attrezzate.

ACTIVITY AWARD 

Tutte le stazioni che appaiono nei 59 log dei team del WRTC possono,dopo il contest, scaricare dal sito WRTC2014  il certificato relativo, e per questo non è necessario l'invio del log.

 

PARTECIPATION AWARDS (è necessario l'invio del log)

 1 Assistant Judge Award - Tutti quelli che invieranno il log entro sei ore dalla fine del contest,riceveranno il titolo  “Assistant Judge of WRTC2014” e parteciperanno all'estrazione di uno dei 25 Berrettini con la scritta “ WRTC2014 Assistant Judge “.

  

BRONZE AWARDS 

Ogni stazione che invierà il log,contenendo le conferme di almeno 30 collegamenti bande/modo dei WRTC Teams parteciperà al sorteggio di    10 medaglie di Bronzo e di 50  WRTC2014 mouse pads.

  

SILVER AWARDS 

Una medaglia d'Argento sarà vinta dalle prime 5 stazioni di ogni continente e gli stati W1. Tutte le altre stazioni che avranno collegato le 59  stazioni parteciperanno al sorteggio per vincere uno dei 25 berrettini  WRTC2014.

  

GOLD AWARDS 

Medaglia d'oro per  le prime 5 stazioni di ogni continente e W1 che avranno fatto il maggior numero di collegamenti con le 59 stazioni,nelle varie bande e nei due modi.
